- DO's :
- Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before waxing to remove dead skin
- Keep hair at least 1/4 inch long for best results
- Shower and keep the area clean before your appointment
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- Drink plenty of water to keep skin hydrated
- DONT's :
- Do not shave for at least 2–3 weeks before waxing
- Avoid using heavy lotions or oils on the day of waxing
- Do not wax if the skin is sunburned, irritated, or broken
- Avoid caffeine or alcohol right before your appointment (may increase sensitivity)
- Do not exfoliate on the same day of waxing
- First 24 - 48 Hours :
- Avoid touching or friction in the area
- Do not have hot baths, saunas, or swimming
- Avoid tight underwear or synthetic fabrics
- Skip workouts or activities that cause sweating
- Skin Care :
- Keep the area clean and dry
- Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel
- Avoid perfumed products, lotions, or sprays
- To Prevent Ingrown Hairs :
- Start gentle exfoliation after 48 hours (2–3 times a week)
- Wear breathable cotton underwear
- Maintain regular waxing appointments
- Important Notes :
- Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and should settle within a day.
